Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actress whose name has gained acclaim for her portrayal of strong yet vulnerable character. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father Romulus Linney writing plays. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at the Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City was her first stop in the 1990s. The actress immediately started performing in shows on Broadway eventually earning praise for her performance in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
