Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born on 16 April 1996 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English and the other half Spanish. Parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother's ancestral lineage is Spanish and English. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's former marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, after which the family relocated into Victoria within London. Taylor-Joy stated she was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. She had to switch schools to Northlands and then Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. She dropped out of the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
