Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from country music to pop culture, turning into a pop icon that will be around forever, and will conquer every corner of the globe. But it also smashed records across all over the world. Swift was able to consolidate her success by releasing Speak Now almost two year later. Swift's popularity continued to grow with her following three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation in 2017 and saw her move confidently into a realm of pop music that she had already been a part of. In the end, when she refocused her music with the stripped-down releases of 2020, folklore, and Evermore but she was still on top. The position was defended through re-recordings of her previous catalog, as in Midnights which was her chart-topping synth heavy 2022 album.
