Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is best known as the anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas she was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She was a troubled child. childhood taking care of her sister Frankie who suffered from the disease of polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl claimed that at one point her mother had stabbed one of the parents to her son due to the fact that she was getting closer to her. Sheryl was a soldier upon her graduation from college. Her interest was in comedy. She was the first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career in 1992 after she was a regular performer on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the T.V. show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. She has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
