Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her stage debut as Flora McGrath when she played the character as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best supporting Actress. Paquin was a part-time actress in the TV film of 1997 adaptation to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. The actress also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). The role she played was for teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). She also played the role of a teen girl named Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
